 GPS Stands for Global Positioning System. I am a member of UTM gps club in my school (Tendruck central school). UTM gps club was launched on 29 April 2023 by Druk GPS founder Sir Ugyen Dorji and member of Druk  GPS . Druk GPS is a volunteer group who, helps people of Bhutan to learn about life saving technology.

GPS

The global positioning system (GPS) is a network of satellites and receiving devices used to determine the location of something on Earth. Some GPS receivers are so accurate they can establish their location within one centimeter (0.4 inches). GPS receivers provide location in latitude, longitude, and altitude.

Why is GPS mainly used for?

GPS, or the Global Positioning System, is a global navigation satellite system that provides location, velocity and time synchronization. GPS is everywhere. You can find GPS systems in your car, your smartphone and your watch. GPS helps you get where you are going, from point A to point

Example of GPS?

Decimal degrees (DD): 41.40338, 2.17403.

What are the two types of GPS?

Mapping GPS is a type of GPS unit that comes with in-built maps. It is also possible to download maps to add to the mapping GPS. This is the type of GPS unit often found in mobile devices and other handheld devices. Non-mapping GPS is a type of GPs unit that comes without maps.

Tendruk central School(GPS)

The teacher and students got opportunity participate in GPS program in Samtse.The principal have also participated in it, and he was motivated to. The principal and all the teachers were agree to form (GPS) club here at Tendruk. They conducted first (GPS)meeting there.
